Well to start off with a little background I am the owner of 716 Fish Pros, an all around aquarium business in Buffalo NY mostly doing cleanings and set ups.
Last week while I was on vacation I got a call from a person who has a 125 gallon set up that he had set up with the help of another local fish store. This was his first saltwater fish tank and they set him up with all great (expensive) equipment. But over the past year and a half he wasn't able to keep any fish alive (however he did have plenty of gorgeous coral) when he called me he only had a clown and 2 damsels alive in the tank. At this point after spending at least $5,700 (this is just from the reciepts he kept) on this tank and not being able to keep fish alive for long he just wanted to get rid of it. So he had me come and pick up the tank and everything he had for it. (including a pair of radon XR30w G4 lights!) He didn't want any money for it he just wanted it gone! So now I am currently still in the process of setting this tank up in my own home, EXTREMELY excited for it, and I'm looking for some suggestions on what I should put in it! As of right now I threw a lot of the corals in my 75 gallon Reef and some in my 30, some of the rock the damsels and the clown I put in my 30 as well. Im kind of leaning towards doing some predators because I haven't been able to in my other tanks but I haven't decided yet. I'm so excited for this tank and am really interested to hear some of your guys suggestions!
