:mad2: Well, several months ago I bought a replacement pump and piping for my Detec APF-600 skimmer from Marvin D-D Aquarium Solutions USA. Shaft on pinwheel broke twice on two different pinwheels and popped my GFI. Have only had 6 days of use since paying for it in August. Still waiting for a new pump, he sent the bad Aquabee back twice.
Bought the Geisman Infinity light from Phil (Xneia, Canada, Also a Director of D-D Aquarium Solutions/North America). Ballasts were bad, called Phil, took awile but he took care of it no questions asked, shipping was the hold up.
Now I was frustrated waiting for the new ballast from Germany, but knew they were on the way and that it would fix the problem. Phil payed all shipping both ways including 3 day from Germany.
Well the AquaBee for my skimmer cost $314 and the first time I sent it back no offer of paying shipping, $12+. Again after 2 days shaft broke same place. Looked like it had been superglue repaired, Marvin denied it and sent some pics of two pinwheels with broken shaft as his proof. As I had not taken pics of the Pinwheel showing the superglue before it broke again I dropped that claim. I asked and recieved a shipping tag. Got same AquaBee back, new pinwheel, pump had gouges inside from the two shaft beaks. I e-mailed Marvin about my concerns, he said to send it back, no offer of shipping label. I paid another $12 to send it back and still waiting for responce.
I am a laid back person as those that know me can tell you, but you tick me off its on till is resolved. So who would you do business with? Phil (I would and will) or Marvin?
