thickness glass color tempered or non?

can you tell if glass is tempered by the tint of it when you look at the thinkness. like mine is green and cleat i just see green when i look done the glass while looking at the thinkness does this make sense?? what im wondering is the green stuff tempered?

You can't tell if glass is tempered by the color of it.

Pick up some cheap polarized sunglasses. If the glass is tempered you will see a symmetrical pattern. For comparison you see the same pattern on the rear window of cars.

i tried that and it didnt work. i checked the bottom of the glass where it says tempered and it looked the same there was no lines nothing just clear
