Thiellei Pics

I still have my juvi Thiellei. You can see the full head stripe & the black outline forming around the head band. Do some of you still think its a leuc??

In my opinion it is not pattern of the white that makes me think it is a thiellei, it is the shape of the body and head. The body seems much more ocellaris-like than the chrysopterus shape of a leuk.

I think to me it is more the shape of the face.
Ocellaris/percula have sort of a round face without much of a forehead.
Orange skunks have more of a forehead with a thinner face. Chrysopterus and most leuks have an even bigger forehead.

Thanks for the comparison pics Phender. I see what your talking about now. I was comparing the shape of the entire body not just the head & face. Maybe it's a cross between an orange skunk & an occ.??

I believe that was the thought of the people who spend time thinking about these sorts of things.
I have also heard ocellaris x pink skunk mentioned.
Have you heard a confirmation as to where the Thiellei are actually collected? All I have heard is speculation.

Mine came from the Philipines (sp.). It came in w/ a bunch of orange skunks. I've had quite a few people say it does resemble a pink skunk. I love your avatar, the bernese mountain dog. I use to have a great pyr that I really miss. Everytime I see your avatar it makes me smile reminding me of Lily.
