Thin Yellow Tang

My yellow tang is thin (Not sick or dying before the negative threads start). I've had him for about an year now. Very active, he eats what ever I put in the tank. I feed nori and other veggies. What do I need to feed him that will fatten him up? Oh I feed once a day.

tangs have a short digestive tract, so they need a pretty constant stream of food to remain healthy.

My girlfriend uses broccoli on a fish clip and both her blue and yellow love it. It wouldn't hurt to add some garlic to your fish food if your fish are a little sick, I've noticed that helps too.

fresh broccoli from the super market?

Yep, just a small piece on a fish clip. Just plain raw broccoli. I was surprised they would eat it too.
