Thinking more flow

I have a 29 gallon system and so far I am relatively pleased with the flow however I'm always up for buying new things ;) Currently this tank is running as follows:

29 gallon AGA
150w 14KDE fixture
remora w/mj1200 and prefilter
25lbs liverock
no sand (bb)
2 mj 1200
seio 620

With my current configuration I am getting a gross turnover of 40. IMO this is decent but I would like to shoot for more. I am really thinking about ditching the maxijets and the 620 and simply running a pair of larger seios on the multicontroller. Any suggestions on which model seio to use? Also just an fyi I am too impacient to wait for the nanostreams :D

What about DIY? 2 maxi mods would suit just fine .

Better yet Make a calfo manifold and feed it with an over the back closed loop like the SCWD closed loop Melev did a long time back . That way you can keep the 620 and get great flow from the manifold which will allow you to get flow going from the front to back .

Believe it or not I will end up with a closed loop again despite all my tunzes. Most likely it will be a calfo manifold with 1/2 line and 1/2 outs running of a pressure pump. I need that front to back flow over the reef structure.

Lol I sold my SQWD today however a closed loop manifold would be interesting. So basically all it consists of is a siphon tube that feeds a pump below the aquarium which is the linked to a manifold that sits on the rim of the aquarium?

Yup .

Here's a link . Just like that but instead of a SCWD make a manifold that goes around the top frame.

here is the one I did for my buddy. Although this one feeds thru a bulk head but you see the top and thats what counts.

I have seen one person that has one. That is very nice Chris though I would probably spray paint the hole thing black so that it looked a bit neater as I am running open top.

The multicontroller is made for the seio powerheads, it lowers the voltage and then raises it so it never turns the pump off.
