I need to thin my xenia. What is the best way to do this and what do you do with what you remove?

We trade it to LFS to provide a healthy supply of tank raised xenia or give it to other reefers.
You can cut the stalk as close as you can to the base be sure to get a fork of at least 2 xenia. Then using some bridal netting (hobby shops) you can wrap between the staks round and round a few times. Apply some gel super glue to this to harden it up it will make sort of a cast around the middle stalks. then glue that netting to a frag plug, let sit a few hours (slimy) then they are good to go.
There are many ways to mount the coral but this is my preferred method.

If you are ever in the South Charleston/Spring Hill area then I'm sure we can work something out. If not then maybe if you come to the reef meet.
