This is getting annoying.. Suggestions?

Hey there,
My coral frags are always getting pushed around by my hermits and A pincushion urchin..

Any suggestions that can stop this phenomenon of raining frags?(joke of course)

i use used an underwater epoxy. it worked ok, it doesn't really "stick" so you have to mold it to cup the frag and the rock you want it to stick on.

try to find underwater epoxy, i happen to find one that was also used for patching potable water lines so i knew it was not toxic

Epoxy and superglue gel will do the trick. I use 'Mighty Putty' - it's the stuff advertised on TV at night, sold in Wal-Mart, same as one of the brands of aquarium putty but about 1/10 the price. It's not sticky like the better aquarium epoxies (Deltec makes a wonderful product, but it's not cheap), but it works.

What I usually do is form a ball of epoxy (it's the consistency of plastercine) and squeeze it between the frag and the rockwork. If it sticks, great. If not, I let the epoxy cure until it's hard, then use superglue gel on one or both sides - because it's perfectly shaped, it'll stay in place very well. You'll get the hang of gluing things in place pretty quickly, and once you do your urchin and hermits will need to find themselves new hobbies

Edit - I'm assuming your frags are mounted on plugs or rubble. If you've got bare coral, there are a few ways to attach them so they won't move. Zoas can be glued directly to the rock with superglue gel. Things like leathers and mushrooms I typically place in the sump in a container of rubble until they attach themselves, then glue the rubble to the rockwork.
