This lovely weather

Just having fun
Has anyone Had the guts to venture out yet? I'm debating making a run to town just to look at the chaos. I do have to go dig my service truck out because work will resume tomorrow.

I just popped out and ran a few errands. I drive a Honda Element, and I had no trouble at all. The major streets have hard packed snow. If you have 4wd, go for it.

I realized that my answer wasn't very useful. If you have front-wheel drive or a reasonably powered sedan, you're probably fine. My husband drives a light-duty Toyota pick-up, and he can't get out of the driveway.

got my S10 heat & air service truck out today we had a few service calls to make.
just couldn't restock because some of the supply stores were still closed.

I've been out in it since it started. Unless you are in a 4x4 truck with some ground clearance, it's still a bad idea to get out.

The main streets aren't too bad, the highways are "ok" at best. But the on/off ramps and any neighborhood I've been into are all horrible. Almost every ramp has a semi stuck on it, and the number of cars stuck is scary.

I see so many "I have a FWD, they are great in the snow!" people stuck everywhere. Mostly because they get high centered so easily. Yesterday even 1 ton dually 4x4s were getting stuck left and right. I saw several ambulances, fire trucks, and more than 5 snow plow heavy trucks stuck.

It is only getting better because the snow is packing down some, and the plows are leveling it some.

Good luck, and be careful,
Mr Plow.

To think we are getting more of the white stuff next week.I made it out of my hood today. The drive wasn't real bad but if you can stay home please do so.
