I was thinking about getting one for my niece, unfortunately she's like the little girl from finding nemo. (in action not looks) But I am sure she will find a way to make a snow globe out of it. I do have to hand it to her, she always finds the most clever ways to kill her pets.

I got two for my kids for christmas 2 years ago. Only one of the total 7 shrimp have died. Pretty amazing, I forgot we had them until you posted this so I went and dusted them off. We have had them in the same place the whole time. Not near a window but in the center of the room. I almost want to let them go but I fear they would be manderin food in a few seconds.
