I have noticed that the body of the yuma is a much darker purple while the ends of the bubbles are looking a little white, is it ok or is it getting too much light do you think?
Wow thats the first time I've seen someone with one that looks so similar to mine in color! Looks fine to me. at night mine seems to be more purple with other colors mixed in
Thought i was the only one. Darn it all! :sad1: Usually if there is too much light they will start to detatch so they can move. Looks fine to me. Gray edges are OK. I have had many yumas change color. Depends on the light they are under.
Thats great, thanks guys. Not bad considering it was free on my rock!! Think I should frag him? Either way he's gonna get moved cos I cant really see him with the angle he's at lol!
Do yours look more purply\blue under actinics\moon light? Mine will bunch up to eat or poop and it's color becomes like that instead of "salmon" i guess i have been calling it

Here it is when the lights first come on.
This is an older pic but pretty close to the same today, The salmon color comes on after a couple 3 hours under bright lighting. I personally wish it would stay the purple/gray color throughout the day.Nope, I just checked my photo names and this is a different one. The salmon starts out brown and turns salmon during the day under high light. It is down below.
This one draken, but stays purple. They look different under different lighting. I started under 20kMH, went to 96wtPC and now am back under 14kMH. Photo record keeping gets confusing for which is whichm especially when you move the rics around.
