Thorite replacement

Anyone know if Emaco GP can be used in lieu of Emaco 400? Emaco I believe is the product that is repackaged and sold as EMarco 400 by Marco Rocks.. I'm having a hard time finding Emaco 400 (even online) and would rather buy a whole bag than 3 or 4 of the Marco Rocks 10lb kits.

Emaco 400 Data Sheet

Emaco GP Data Sheet

I should mention that I looked at the MSD for each and the %compositions listed are identical across the two products...

MSD for Emaco GP.

MSD for Emaco 400.

Here is the general description for Emaco GP...

I havent used the GP product but I did use 1 kit of the marco 400. I was able to find a gallon of the binder (acryl 60) used in the kit to make my own concrete/mortar mix. The mix that I made (portland cement, sand, acryl 60) was just as strong as the E-marco 400. I think the key is the acryl 60. Probably doesnt help but I thought Id throw it out there anyway since youve got nothing else. Heres the link to my aquascape... the rockwork starts on page 3, post #65 http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2174535
