Thoughts anyone?

Is it worth the bother using this 10g sump for equipment? Apparently the previous owner used it to link multiple tanks together.
The only practical use I could come up with was to hold my skimmer, heaters and some marine pure block. One suggested a full refugium.
What's everyone's opinion on this space? Worthwhile or not?

I think it depends on what your goals are. Do you want a sump? Skimmer? Refugium?

I like moving as much equipment to the sump as possible. It makes the DT look better to me.

That looks like a 30 gallon cube. I used a 10 gallon for a sump on mine because it fit in the stand. I siliconed a piece of glass to make a return section on one end for the ATO. It worked great and I had no equipment in the tank.

Sump will also add extra water volume, which is always a good thing. Maybe baffle it if you can, have a small refugium and skimmer section. It wouldn't hurt having it.
