Thoughts for my 55g reef

what are the best Zoas to get, starting my reef over agai and want a softie tank as they seems to be easier to have. It's only a 55g so with them, a gobie/shrimp pair and whatever my wife likes. I love Flamebacks, Cherubs, Multibars, although I can't have all of them in that tanks at the same time if at all. I know I need to have more fish than that to keep the wife satified, lol. So, some Midget or green Chromis, maybe a purple dottyback, but got to watch the aggression with that one. Add in a good clean crew and I'll be maxed out. So what do you think, is that to much?

Use caution on “whatever the wife likes”
Yes, but still has to make sense.
In 55g I’ve done these guys with great success.
Maybe some you might like.

Yellow tang
Bristletooth tang
Bonded pair Black Occs with BTA.
3 Harem, Lyretail anthais
Royal Gramma
Long Nose Hawkfish
Mandarin

And my wife’s pic……Dory!
So back to the making sense thing.

The good thing is she was responsible for the glass upgrade.

Thanks for replying, you tank is amazing, all I can say is "if only". I say that because now I have my 90g in the basement and if I wanted to upgrade to anything it would be that. That's big enough for me. Add to the fact that I have oak floors through my hose, that much weight will probably put a dent in them. And I don't need that problem. Gonns be hard enough with the salt from the tank.

As for your recommedations on fish, Dori would case a fight with the wife and daughter, lol. I like the clow fish but not to into them. I was looking at your sand/aragonite, is that what you have? How old is your tank? amd what is your electric bill like, lol. What is your filtration, a sump and protien skimmer? Sorry for all the questions, just got to do this right or she'll be wanting Discus and I'm not about to go down that road.

Anyway, thanks again., I really appreciate it.

I’ll preference this by saying I’m more of a coral/invert guy and not much of a fish guy. That said, get what you and your wife like as long as the tank is big enough for them.
