Alright as a couple of you know I'm setting My 90. I have a eshopps r-100 sump that holds +\- 20 gal. Got the plumbing put in driven by my Triton 5 return pump. It will be pushing approx 950 gph with 6' head hight and check valve taken into account. I'm planning on running bare bottom for atleast a year for easy maintance and to avoid build up in sand. This will allow me to visualize how much waste Also will have 2 aqueon 1250 wmakers(1 close to bottom maybe 6"-10" from bottom on back wall facing L to R. 1 on right wall facing R to L maybe 12-14" blowing back across the tank slightly upward.) to keep most particulates suspended. I have a CoralLife T1000 skimmer with mid grade pump pushing slightly less than 700gph. Pump in first compartment with filter sock, emptying into second compartment(also bare bottom no fuge. Maybe chunk of LR). planning on later plumbing my turbo twist 18w uv inline with skimmer. Light will be 6 bulb 48" T5 Tek suspended over glass top.(open to bulb selection and arrangement). Wondering if heater will be necessary? Another concern is what types of corals I would be better with. Would like a zoa or two but think flow may be an issue. Also this(I believe it's called "Berlin" method) is a low nutrient system. I like some corals that are high nutrient. Any way to sustain a slightly "mixed" reef with my setup? planning on contacting reef cleaners for CUC. any tweaks or suggested changes or input would be great. Thanks
