This question is aimed at Roger but if someone else knows the answer, feel free to chime in.
I just picked up a pair of used 6100s (black housing versions) and they are on alternate schedules making waves via an Apex. I have the Apex profile set to:
I have also run it as:
because of the recommendation to stay above 30% but the wave form is cleaner and there is no noise when run at:
When run at:
the wave form is not as nice and there is the deep humming/ramping sound leading me to want to run them at
but while one of the pumps handles this well, the other makes a clicking sound when running at
but not at
My questions are:
Thank you
I just picked up a pair of used 6100s (black housing versions) and they are on alternate schedules making waves via an Apex. I have the Apex profile set to:
Code:
sync: false
divide by 10: true
initial delay: 0
on time: 5
off time : 2
min intensity: 0
max intensity: 60
I have also run it as:
Code:
min intensity: 30
because of the recommendation to stay above 30% but the wave form is cleaner and there is no noise when run at:
Code:
min intensity: 0
When run at:
Code:
min intensity: 30
the wave form is not as nice and there is the deep humming/ramping sound leading me to want to run them at
Code:
min intensity: 0
but while one of the pumps handles this well, the other makes a clicking sound when running at
Code:
min intensity: 0
but not at
Code:
min intensity: 30
My questions are:
- Is it OK to run them at min intensity: 0 in this profile ?
- Why does one pump do this silently but the other clicks?
- Is there a part that needs to be replaced on the clicking pump?
Thank you
