Time for new growth

On average, how long has it taken until a newly introduced sps frag or colony has started to shown growth? I know it depends on the species, and other factors, but I am curious what other aquarists have found.

i see new growth everyday....though it may only be 1mm it's still growth lol.

i normally see about 1 cm a month from most of my sps, my digi and caps have grown a bit more than the acropa but thats to be expected.

anywhere from a week to still waiting six months later.

depends on tank conditions

depends on the piece really. i have had some pieces like a efflo attach and start growing a few days after placing in tank, where as i have had one piece take 8 months to get going good.
