Time to get more IO salt!

Yeah, that's where I order my salt from too. Good customer service as well - I had ordered a bucket of Reef Crystals last month, and it never showed up. FedEx had no idea what happened to it. Called Drs. Foster Smith, and they shipped me out a new bucket that very same day.

Where do you live? Steve at Lucky Ocean, FYI one of our sponsors :), sells salt mixes for VERY cheap, infact the last time I bought some, they were cheaper than what DrF&S are selling it as, it may have gone up a buck or so due to rising freight costs, but on the other hand you don't pay any shipping (some gas for driving).

Some other local stores might carry it for cheap too, however I don't go to many other places around the bay for dry goods.

Around SJ.. Petsmart... print out the price on the website and they will match it. ... If not pay couple more $ and get them from Drs. Foster Smith.

Last month I ordered two buckets of reef crystals from the Drs and they were shipped seperately via Fedex ground. The day they were due to arrive they did not. Both tracking nubmers said they were delivered. I called Fedex the same day and made a complaint and the person on the line said they sent a message to the driver who should call me within 48 hours about the delivery. This was on a friday night. I didn't recieve a call, but both of the buckets turned up on my front porch the following monday. I just suspected the driver didn't feel like carrying two 50 lb buckets up my driveway.
