Tinkerii Butterfly

Hi,
I received the package at 10:18am this morning and it was very well packed with 6-7 bags and plenty of water in it.
After acclimation I put the Tinkerii in the tank and noticed the tail what appeared to be a nip but after looking at the picture before it went in the tank it was already there. Need advice--does it look like a nip or fin rot? Thanks for any help you can offer.

One last question so I'm on the same page in the future--I measured the fish from tip-to-tip (mouth to end of tail) it was 5" but on the item description it was stated as 4.5". Do you go by tip-to-tip?
