tiny starfish on leather

I picked up a neon green leather coral frag and noticed three very tiny starfish on it. They look like tiny serpent stars and are light grey/off white. I would say they are about 3/8" end of leg to end of leg and do not appear to be doing any damage. Should I remove them or are they OK?

It sounds like it might be a micro brittle star. (harmless)
