Does anyone have any experience with TLC's saltwater additive S.A.T.? I heard it's decent and the guy at my lfs tries to push it out the door all the time.

Ask yourself why he is trying to push it. Has he told you what it does? Have you ever mentioned any reason to need such a product? It is basicly a nitrite and nitrate reducer. It sounds to me like the guy is just trying to make a sale. Most tanks with proper skimming can remove all the unwanted stuff with no need for dosing "miracle cures".

My LFS told me to use it it get rid of hair algae. The hair algae was gone within 4 weeks. i use it now as a preventive maintenance when I do water changes. I havent had a algae problem of any kind since I started using it 2 years ago.
