TMPR Salt + 2-Part Dosing

Not sure this is exactly spot on for the SPS forum but this is where I hang mostly and my tank is only SPS so here goes. Never got a completely clear answer on TMPR Salt use without using a Calcium Reactor. The published parms on the salt look good for carbon dosing but in doing some browsing, there are many references to the salt being formulated solely for use with Calcium Reactors.

I am a 2-part doser with a 65 gal tank. I keep my parms similar to TMPR and would like my water changes to closely match my tank water to avoid fluctuations. Any issues I should be aware of in using this salt with 2-part dosing?

Hey George,

TMPR and 2-part dosing is used by many reefers. There´ll be no problems, but I would recommend a waterchange (5%-10%) every week.

Thanks. I figured as much as parms are parms really. If it mixes up where you want them, what difference does it make whether you run a reactor or 2-part.
