to add another tang or not

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with keeping an eibli mimic tang along with a flame fin tang.

I have a very small flame fin and would like to add another fish to the tank. I was at a LFS today and they had a couple of very small eibli tangs (about the same size of my tang) that my daughters fell in love with. I told them I would have to do some checking before we could do that, so here I am.

My flame fin is not an agressive tang, nor is the eibli. My current tank is very well established, is 70 gallons and everything currently living there is very happy.

I am planning on a larger tank within the year or so, so as everything grows it will have more room.

Please let me know your thoughts and or experiences as I am sure that I am not the first person to wish to place these two beautiful fish together.

I wouldn't recommend it - a 65g is pushing it even for a Tomini; adding another tang could cause problems. Based on my experience (planned upgrade was put on hold and I had to sell on some larger fish that couldn't wait) I'd wait until you upgrade. Keep your tang as the 'showpiece' for now, along with a selection of smaller fish - IME things will be much more peaceful that way :)
