To dip or not to dip that is the question.

How manny people dip there corals? In what? How long? What corals shouldn't you dip.

not really corals, but you shouldn't dip clams or sponges.

i used to dip all acros in lugols, but i stopped because i still got red bugs, and it doesnt work against AEFW.

I dip all my corals incoming take 3 gallons of tank water and i had 3 tablespoons of luogols Solution and i soak the corals in that for 15 mins then into freshwater dip with matched PH for 10 mins then off to another 5gal bucket of fresh salt water and i shake and shake to make sure anything dead doesnt make it in the tank from there they go into a temp holding tank to make sure nothing bad happens then into main tank.

sound like extra but you dont want say red bugs or those bad nudi's or anything else getting into the main tank.

I havent added anything in quite a while. It looks like the dips of choice are prequanzitel (for aefw), interceptor (red bugs), and/or tropic marine coral cure.

I dont know durations or dosage info though.

As you know, these aefw's are brutal, and impossible to treat in tank, so make sure you protect against them at all costs.

There is also something somewhat new, I think its cald Coral Revive. Is Fluke tabs an option?
