To many clowns or not enough tanks.

Right now i have two ocellaris clowns and 9 other fish in my main 225 gallon. I just bought a running 90 gal. I bought it for the 100lbs of live rock and the tank it self which im going to make into a sump and refug for the 225. My problem is the new 90 has 7 fish with it 3 of them are clowns. 2 ocellaris and one saddle back. Will there be a problem if i put all the clowns in the main togather? My clowns I think are going to be a mating pair if there not allready. I realy dont want to stress them out. Thanks for any help.

225 is a large tank, you could probably get away with it. the fish to keep an eye on is the saddleback. but in a 225 things should be ok

Thanks for the input ill be putting them in this week i think. The saddleback seems to be quite mellow. I hope it works cause once there in the 225 its hell trying to catch them hehe.

Make sure you have plenty of rocks set up that cut down line of sight from one clown pair to the next. If they are able to set up a territory where they won't see the other clowns there is a pretty good chance (from what I've read, I don't have a tank this size) that they will co-exist. It would be even better if you have the lighting and stability to keep anemone for them to host. Clowns that host anemone are much less likely to wander about the tank than those that don't.
