well, im setting up a frag section in my sump(100g rubbermaid). i have just gone frag crazy on my sps today(did 25+ small frags) and currently have them on an eggcrate piece stuffed in my rock wall. i have the following parts laying around:
brand new ARO electronic ballast (250w)
brand new magnetic 400w ballast
a 1 year old hamilton 14k bulb
a new Plus brand 10k bulb(no name brand)
a 400w xm 15k bulb.
the frags will only be 4-5" down in the water. what combination is best? i was thinking the 250w ballast with the used hamilton sitting about 12" above the water... im going for fast growth and color retension...
