Hello all!
I rescently accuired a toadstool softy and its my first coral ever!! Hence why its a toadstool. However the first few days it was doing great and had beautiful polyp extension.. Now however its not looking so good, its closed up and just looking terrible. I dont understand why.. my Nitrates/Nitrites are 0, calcium is 420, magnesium is over 1300, ph is 8.3, 1.025 and tank is at 26 degrees. I have two 80w t5 right over the water as well as LEDs(dont like em) I have two clown fish neither sexually mature so not even thoughts of hosting in the toadstool, a juvy desjardini sailfin tang, midas blenny, 3 chromis(dont like em), cleaner wrasse(love em), cleaner shrimp and a long spine sea urchin(hate em)
Running a very good protein skimmer and and phosphates are less than 0.10..
The tank has 15 times the flow that is pumped out randomly from different powerheads. I think that about sums up the tank, lots of live rock and a lazy ss startfish.
Any thoughts or advice are much appreciated. Please dont tell me my tanks to small for my desjardini, he's like 7cm, is the boss of the tank and loves life and im just finishing off my 400 gal which will be stunning but want to mature this tank first... Because quite frankly...I am a noob and know nothing. :hammer:
