At night time he seems to bend about 45 degrees or less is this normal?

Mine does too, then perks up again in the morning.

Mine does the same. Only had it for a month or so but every morning it's bent upside down in a U. When the lights come on it perks up.

After observing mine it looks like he's Gavin the tv light but I'm still not sure

So long as he perks up and reacts to the lights being turned on in the morning(They're slow sometimes, so check 1-2hours after light on to see if he's reacted.), I think it's safe to assume he's ok.

That's normal for my devils hand. 6" across and he has been doing that close to a year now. He is just growing. Had him small. My finger leather does the same
