Hi

When I brought my coral it had green tips, but these have seemed to have gone white, but under blue light they do illuminate green.

The coral is situated on the sand bed, is it getting enough light?

Any advise will be great

Many leather corals, and most certainly Toadstools need high lighting and lots of flow in order to be happy. What lights do you have? Leathers also will go into a funk when they shed so don't be alarmed when you see it not extend it's polyps and it's looking like it's dying, it's getting ready to shed.

What do you think?

What is the brand of this light that you're looking at? Can you post a link? It sounds ok I'd just like to see what brand and how much it is, there might be better options available depending on your budget.

I'm not familiar with this brand of light and depending on what you plan on keeping, The price is too cheap to expect much.

If you're going to have any of the more light dependent corals or even anemones I think you would be better off finding something more like the Chinese Black Box 165w full spectrum dimmable LED's you can find on Ebay or Amazon for around $95 USD. This light will provide enough light for pretty much anything you could want to keep.
