Toadstool vs Starpolyps.....

Who wins this one? The base of the leather is covered with star polyps up about 2-3".

They do look like they need a trim.

Betting gsp too. Aside from growing stupid fast, theyre one of the most toxic softies in the hobby; I bet it could pump out enough allelotoxins to shut down that toadstool eventually.

i say the toadstool myself... only reason i say this is i have a huge toadstool and the star polyps are doing the same thing to my toadstool. it seems the closer they got to the actual head of the toadstool they would just stop growing and maybe it is from lack of light in my tank. but they have stopped at one point and not grown anymore up the toadstool.

I peeled them back and the toadstool seems a bit happier after a week now.

Yeah, thanks! It is looking a lot better. I hadn't even noticed it was being taken over as I don't look too closely at that tank.
