Todd's 40 gallon mixed reef build up

Decided I should keep track of my progress. My setup is a 40 Gallon Breeder that I drilled and built a internal overflow. I built a sump out of a 20 gallon long but before we put water in the tank the sump cracked randomly. It was luck the tank wasn't filled. I purchased a EShopps RS300 sump from my uncles fish store to replace the 20 gallon tank. We added a AquaC Urchin skimmer and a Sicce return pump. The display has has about 40 pounds of live rock and the sump has an additional 15. Light comes from a Coralife T5HO Lunar fixture. Right now it has 2 10k bulbs, 1 Actinic and 1 ATI Blue Plus. I have a UVL Super Actinic and a KZ Fiji on order.

Nice tank, i love 40Bs.

you shouldn't have any problem getting rid of your frags.

So what changed and where you heading with you tank?

Frags are gone. Traded for a few Torchs. The frags were nice but I wanted pieces that were bigger and more filling. I'm going to fill my tank from the bottom up. I'm looking for 6 multicolored Ricordias, bubble coral, long tentacle plate and a Rainbow Wellso now.
