bth tank

hi, im am wondering if i can put these both in my tank or if i should choose one. i love the color of the both and the personalitys too. all feedback is much appreciated:rollface:, AND please no rude or tang police comments please.

I have both in my 240g with no problems. I can't say if it's because the two are compatible in general or how much the extra space helps.

Regardless, I've had great results using an isolation box for three days whenever I add a new fish to my display tank. Almost zero aggression after that when I release the newcomer into the tank. I use the largest plastic critter keeper I could find with extra holes drilled in it for circulation.

In a 75 gallon tank, I would not advise it.

I wouldn't either because they are so similar in shape which can cause problems. I would look into dwarf angels, smaller butterfly fish or smaller acanthurus tangs to see what their tank requirements are. You stand a better chance with one of them with a tomini or kole than two bristletooth tangs together.

I have this combo in a 75. but they are small. Also they will be going into my 225 once it's done cycling. The kole would be fine in your size tank, but the yellow really could use a bigger tank.
