Too clean?

I have a 15 gal that hase been running for 1 month. I added 1 clown, 2 turbo's and 2 narcissus snails last Saturday. Wow, the algae, which was all over the LR is gone. The turbos were the one's eating the hair algae. Will their be enough food for the 4 of them or should 1 turbo go back to the LFS? Thanks.

You're fine. I'd leave them in there and just not add anymore. Don't return the lil guy back to the LFS.

I brought this up on another thread not too long ago. I had a huge outbreak of algae a little less than a month ago. I wen to a LFS and was going to buy a "cleaning crew" comparable to the ones you seen on the online sites. 10 turbos, 20 astera, 20 nasarius blah, blah, blah. Anyway, all they had at the time was Turbo's. They were a little big so I purchased 5 for my 55 gallon. Within 4 days, the tank was clean as could be. Now, I wonder about the same thing. Will there be enough algae to keep them going? So far, so good.

The narcissus (nassarius) snails that you have will usually stay in the sand and will mop up any leftover food that manages to get by your fish. You might want to drop a bit of something every once in a while directly onto your sand for them, if your fish eats everything you put in there.

A little extra nori will help. My Mexican Turbos look like a swarm of bees on the glass when I put out the feeding clip for my tang.

1 turbo for your 15 gallon is normally sufficient. It's up to you if you want to take the other one back. I would exchange the extra turbo for 2 Astraea and 2 Cerith.
