Too many hairy finger leathers growing

I have way to many of these things sprouting up from the origanal piece.
Any ideas how to cut them off so I can give them away or resell them to
my LFS.

Frenchie. No way of taking any pictures at this current time, but I was reading a thread by intothedeepdark about to much lighting and they are exactly what is showing in his picture. (Sinularia)
