I was doing some cleaning today in my 90 gallon and noticed that I have a ton of Astera stars. (Spelling?) Is is bad to have too many? Should I take some out?

Thanks
Robert

I had them at plague proportions once and never saw them do any damage. For a while I did remove them off the glass as I saw them. They were so many of them they were just getting annoying. Eventually the numbers went down but they are still in there.

I don't think I had 'plague proportions', but it seemed like it.....and I had the same thing happen, they just declined in numbers. I still have quite a few, but nothing like a year ago.

I know Angela has had some problems with them. Mainly with them just agitating and annoying corals to the point of the coral suffering a bit.

Personally I have very few in my tank. At least that I've seen so far. ;)
