Too much flow for Torch?

I recently added a Tunze 6100 Stream to my tank. Since then it appears that my torch on my sandbed has lost one of its 'heads'...All the tentacles(?) have slowly disappeared from skeleton of the torch head that is closer to the flow of the stream - although it is about 16 inches away. I dialed the power down on the controller for the stream when I installed it as my tank is only 36" wide thinking it would be a little safer. Could the flow from the stream be a cause for this torch loss or should I look elsewhere?

Are any other heads looking bad? It would seem strange that only one head would be affected by the flow.

Not really, althought the other head is about 1 1/2 inches further away from the flow...Any thoughts?

Sorry I can't offer more constructive comments. My branching hammer always has the same look to all of the heads. Does everything else in the tank look okay?
