Too much flow?

Is it possible to have too much water flow? I put a 2800 l/pH wave maker in my 94litre tank yesterday. Creates nice water movement, but wondering if it's too much?

Yes its possible to have too much..
You could be blowing sand all over the place..
You could be blowing tissue off corals..
You could be causing tissue damage by blowing it into sharp objects like rocks or their own skeleton..

BUT.. In general 2800 l/h is the minimum I would recommend for your tank size..
Most general recommendations are 30x tank size..
Some run 75-100x for high flow SPS tanks,etc...

I shoot for about 50x for a normal mixed reef system
