Too much flow?

So I used to have a Rio 600 in my nano, with the stock pump underneath live rock rubble in the second chamber. Well, the Rio randomly quit the other day, and I went down to the LFS and they didnt have the Rio's but said they put Maxi 1200's in all of their 12 gal nanos....It looks like a LOT of flow too me, plus I now have the stock pump in the front, hidden behind the rocks, to power water the opposite direction. Do you think its too much...? Just wondering...Thanks!

IMO i would let the corals be the judge of that for you. If they seem to be retracted and dont look as good then i would say yes it might be too much flow but if they look like they are lovin it then no its not to much flow. So i would observe your corals and inhabitants and see what they have to say!!!!!
