Too much Lighting ?

Hello all,

I have a 300Lts (80 gal) aquarium and I'm using 2 x 250W MH.
Some coral (mostly soft corals) seem to get burned under mh.
Is this too much light ? Should I change to T5 ?

can you raise the lighting? Or you might add some filtering material such as a diffuser and window screen until your corals acclimate.
