Too much live rock?

Got 10 pounds of live rock last week.
I spent a good 2 hours with my arm in the tank trying to move the rocks around.
The pic is what I came up with but I'm still not sure about it. Should I take some out? Place them differently? How?
Or leave it alone?

Also...i left 1 piece of live rock outside for a couple days and decided to add it back to my tank. When I placed it in a few spiders crawled out and got lost in the rock structure. Should I take them out or leave them till they disintegrate by themselves?

I don't think it's "too" much live rock, but once you start adding corals, whether they're frags or they come on small rocks you will run out of space quick. If you have a sump, maybe put one rock in there for now? GL.

Visually it is a lot. It will make it tough to get good placement of corals for growout and still get adequate flow everywhere.

If it were me I would cut it in half.

You can pluck the spiders out or leave them. They are organic so they should dissolve away fairly quick. If you're worried about algae from the nutrients then you can get them out.

IMO, once you start to add corals, you will most likely need to remove 2 to three pieces of the rocks to ame room for corals.
