Too much skimming?

Hey guys I was wondering if there is such a thing as to much skimming. Would the CSS 220 be to much for a FOWLR 55 gallon heavily stocked.

no/ you cant over skim

i had 2 euro-reefs on 58 gal (lot more skimming than the css220)

ahhh,

the wonderful topic of overskimming...

imo, yes...it is possible. though observational and experience based conclusions, i find my lps and zoo's do better when i skim less while my sps does better when all three are up and running..

my skimmer set up is, well, ludicrous!!!
