Okay so I have two clowns, a fire goby, two damsels, a royal gramma, a saifin tang and a yellow tang in a 55g. What I want to know is do I have to many fish? I do plan on up grading once my tangs get bigger but for now will I be ok? All of the fish do just fine.
Thanks!

I would remove the sailfin tang. They just get huge. The yellow tang will need a larger tank eventually, so you can just upgrade then.

Agreed. The problem with your thinking, is that often the hobbyist has good intentions to upgrade but for any number of reasons, it doesn't happen, and then the fish suffer. Sometimes a well intentioned hobbyist doesn't recognize when a fish is outgrowing a system, and then it's too late.

+1 on getting rid of the sail fin. they get rather large and they grow fast. i also wouldnt have any tangs in a tank that size, but thats just me. i wouldnt recomend anything smaller then a 75.
