Took the ricordia plunge, lighting question

Well I took the plunge and picked up a dozen ric's from LA and got a nice assortment of colors all in very good shape and several are about to split. I set up a 12 gallon half hex for them and I am using PC 10K and actinic lighting, about 130 watts total. I am considering replacing the PC's and looking at a nano retrofit kit, LED, T-5's, what lighting would you all recommend for looks , color, and keeping the ric's happy?

Also what do you all feed them? TIA

Ric's tend to like lower lighting. Yumas like a bit more than Florida's, but neither really likes a lot of light or flow. I have ~78w of T5 over my 40 breeder and my ric's love it.

And they'll eat mysis or brine shrimp - maybe. Mine only eats very rarely (read: twice since getting it 5 months ago). And still reproduces like it was trying to repopulate the planet.

Everyone says ric's like low light, but these are about three inches from the top of my 75 tank. 4 x 54W T5's...they seem to love it and are huge when they open up...also multiplying so that makes it more fun...not sure why everyone says low lighting unless they call my 216W low....I know that is not a ton of light...but it is pretty bright near the top...enjoy your rics
