Top Off on Rubbermaids

I'm curious what others have done for auto top off sensors since the kits are designed to hang the sensors on normal acrylic or glass tanks. I was thinking to cut a hole through the rubbermaid for the mounts and just have them hanging there.

I just used cheap acrylic from home depot cut it to size and bent it using boiling water. made a smaller piece the same way and drilled it to mount the float to and used a tie wrap hook both pieces together and allow me to adjust the height
