Torch Coral base

So I've had my electric torch coral for about a week and a half now. It appears to be healthy, opens up nice and big durning the day, closes up a bit at night and after being fed. Since this is my first experience with SW and corals I'm not sure on what everything is supposed to look like. It's tenticles look like what I see in pictures but I can never see the coral's base in online photos. When mine closes up some at night or after feeding I get a shot of it's base... Is this normal? What are all those things that look like roots covering it's base?

BTW, I know the color doesn't look good in the picture but it actally has great color, esp at night, cell phone camera just didn't pick it up.

looks good to me. for what I can tell is you have circled the actual torches skeleton that is glued to the frag plug/disk

Okay good, thank you! Like I said, I wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like and wanted to make sure there was nothing going on with it health wise. Thanks again!

Looks normal and healthy to me
