torch coral fell into my gigas

torch fell inside my new large football size gigas i just got last nite, was in there all day while at work. now the clam is all shrunk up inside its shell. i can also see all the way thru its intake valve to the bottom of sand. think he will make it?

Hard to tell without a picture- they can be incredibly resilient, but from what you describe, I'd guess it's not going to make it. I'd leave it alone and give it a few days, if it fails to show signs of ability to open or close its shell and the flesh continues shriveling, it's time to get it out of your tank before it fouls the water. What a bummer!
