Torch coral HELP!

I have a two headed torch, one green one purple about the size of golfballs. It opened up really nice the first 2 days I had it. Now for the last few the purple has opened up well when the lights went on, the green isn't doing so well. The tentacles stay shrunk up and small...earlier some of them looked like they were swelling huge, then went back down. It is still just "BLAH". My parameters are good, it's a 29gal with currently 195 watts on it (one PC broke), I have a hagen 402 at one end up top pushing current. The torch is in the shape of a "y" and the purple head is up higher by about 2 inches, puple about 9 inches deep and the green about 11inches. What could it be doing? What's going on? HEELLLPP!

does your tank get heat loss at night? what is your heating situation?

I don't think so. During the day it runs 80-81, and in the mornings it is usually about the same, maybe 78-80 range. I have a 100 watt heater, and my lights keep the heat up during the day.

If I am visualizing it right, maybe the top one is blocking the light to the lowwer one?
