torch coral not looking good

Today after bringing my corals back home I noticed this one head on a torch is not looking too good.

I know the pic doesn't show much but it almost looks like a clear/white cotton like area in the head of coral. The actual mouth of coral is not visable.

It does not look normal but I am unsure of what is going on here. I thought brown jelly but it doesn't not appear to match the signs of brown jelly. Could I be wrong!?

Anybody have any help!?

Thanks

Update* whatever it was spread to 2nd head. Took it out and did freshwater dip. Coral smelt pretty bad which from what I read is the coral dying.
Some of the tentacles look brown inside. Pretty safe to assume this is brown jelly?

Bummer -_-

Yea that's brown jelly disease. Same thing my hammer coral got. You have to suck up the dead brown jelly with a syringe or siphon it out. Then give the coral a freshwater dip with iodine for two min. Make sure water is same temp and pH as tank. Then coral should recover.

i think you'll need to frag the bad parts off before they spread.

+1. Got off infected heads then water changes. Brown jelly is an infection and can spread to other coral so removing the concentration of that bacteria could save your other. Then I'd say keep it in low light/flow for a little while cause its really gunna be stressed. I also believe some coral dips can help. I would do the freshwater dip, I killed a torch that way once.

Any idea why my hammer still looks like this. I was adjusting my light settings the other day and I believe I put my hammer in shock or something.
