Torch coral not opening.

Hey guys. I've had this torch for a few weeks now. It's been mostly open, goes through cycles where a head or two randomly closes, but seems overall pretty happy. Last few days though two of the heads haven't opened at all. Looking at it, I don't remember seeing this thing when I bought it. In the picture it is that blue thing between the two heads. Any idea if that is a problem or what it is?

It looks like either a sponge or perhaps some tunicates IMO. Have you ever seen anything come out of those little nodules? If you haven't already, you might want to move the coral someplace else in the tank and see how it responds. Start off with low light low flow and then go from there. GL.

Thanks yea I was thinking maybe sponge. Nothing sticking out that I've seen. Doing a water change later today and I'll move it down then.
