Torch too close?

There are about 4 inches between my lobo and my new torch. Is this enough distance?

It might be for now, but definitely keep your eye on them. Those Torch corals can reach out pretty far sometimes.

Nope.

I have seen them extend at least 10 inches.. So no you need more space between them.

The currents in your tank will influence the direction of the sweepers too, so there's definitely a possibility that they'll never reach that far. You'll just have to see what works and what doesn't, but definitely be prepared to makes some changes if anything gets burnt.

I moved the torch away from the lobo. It is now 7 inches away with the flow pushing tentacles primarily away from everything. I may make one more move later today. Thank you very much for the input.
